CURRENT INTERESTS
I'm currently working on a book tentatively titled: Voluntary Governance: a Roadmap. It explores the historical
backdrop and theoretical requirements for thinking through a form of governance rooted in personal liberty and the
cooperative web of market exchange. I’ve recently completed a book, soon to be available on the publications page
in PDF format, entitled Acting Human; Communication Cost. It breaks new ground in communication theory through the
application of the Austrian School of economics concept of praxeology to communication as a distinct form of human
action.
More generally, I'm focused on complex organizational dynamics – e.g. networks, distributed leadership,
self-organizing systems, open method of coordination, and the vitally important and creative role of markets – with
emphasis on the distinct communications dimensions of successful governance.
